The power of the mind.

As a KG hypnobirthing mummy and teacher i really do have a huge belief in the power of the mind. Looking at positive affirmations throughout pregnancy and birth can be of benefit to help you focus, stay positive, believe in your self and what you can do and give you a good feeling ( releasing oxytocin) Having a good birth space is important to keep the hormones flowing you should give birth in the same way you make a baby rich in the hormone of love.

Try writing something positive to your self or your loved one. Think about things that you may need a boost in or just using simple ones like i am strong can really help. This is a valued way of giving yourself encouragement.

If you look in the Yogic Encyclopedia it says:

“When applied to the spiritual life, an affirmation is a statement of truth which one aspires to absorb into his life.” Which is what we are doing absorbing this positive image or words into our minds to benefit us when needed.
